Making Basic Wire Hands
If you want to make basic wire hands for your armature here are the instructions. We can supply the washer, aluminium wire and K&S Brass Tube. Just email us with you requirements.
Each 5 finger aluminium wire hand comprises a 8.7mm diameter cupped stainless steel washer with 5x1mm twisted aluminium wire fingers and a 3 strand 1mm twisted aluminium wire wrist. The fingers can be cut to length as required during final assembly. Each hand requires 2x15mm lengths of K&S Square Brass Tube #8152 and 1x22mm length of K&S Tube Brass Square #8153. Final assembly requires 2 Part Epoxy Glue as per the instructions below. For a PDF copy of the assembly instruction click HERE.
